Wyckoff

Town Home Rentals In Wyckoff
Wyckoff, New Jersey (NJ)

Wyckoff’s unfamiliar name comes from the Native American word for “high ground.” This quaint New Jersey town is home to just over 16,500 residents and is governed by a township committee. The committee is lead by five committee members who serve three-year terms. The committee ensures that Wyckoff remains a place that focuses on a high quality of life for its residents.

Just 22 miles outside Manhattan, Wyckoff, N.J., makes for a great commuter town. Away from the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple, Wyckoff is characterized by the meandering streams and peaceful ponds for which it was named in the tongue of its original Native American residents. But location and serenity do not come cheap. If you cannot afford to buy a home here, consider town home rentals in Wyckoff.

Town Home Rentals In Wyckoff

What was once home to a number of nomadic tribes before European colonization went through a series of name and boundary changes throughout the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, the Township of Wyckoff was finally incorporated in November of 1926. Largely a farming and rural community for the first part of the 20th century, Wyckoff is now a highly sought-after suburban community. Noted for its curb appeal, Wyckoff was recently recognized by New Jersey Monthly magazine as a “hot town” in the state. Not surprisingly, the present real estate market reflects this change.
